I spent a bit of time yesterday poking around on AQA’s new GCSE site – there are some superb teaching resources, which I’ll be returning to this year, but also some other interesting finds. As I mentioned yesterday, I found a nice formula poster and a list of command words used in exam questions, which I decided to make into a set of simple posters.
There are 20 posters in total, using the list of words, plus “calculate”, which I added because I got thoroughly fed up of telling pupils it didn’t mean “use a calculator” last year. I’m probably going to put these at the front of my room where I’ve got a lot of blank space at the moment.
