  • OCR GCSE support materials (via @mathsjem) ~ In response to my #mathsTLP question about baseline assessments for Year 10, Jo linked to OCR’s GCSE resources, which include 44 Topic Check-In tests (at the bottom of the page) – while not quite what I was looking for as a baseline, these look invaluable for use throughout the course.
  • Calculator/non-calculator baseline assessments(@MrMattock) ~ Also in response to my #mathsTLP question, Peter linked these assessments based on the Edexcel original baselines.
  • Integration by a flowchart (@DrBennison) ~ A great flowchart showing all integration methods and model of a sensible thought process for solving integration problems.
  • “Would you rather” warm-up questions (via @tessmaths) ~ Some silly but engaging “would you rather” questions; could work for getting pupils involved and engaged in class discussions early on in the year.
  • “100 Challenge” (@ilovemathsgames) ~ Multipurpose display/starter activity and a simple solution to literacy in the maths classroom.
  • Play with your Math (via @Craigos87) ~ A superb site with lots of rich problems encouraging pupils to get enthusiastic and “play with” their maths; there’s a new problem every two weeks.
